Pousada Rabake

Aparecida is a Brazilian municipality in the state of São Paulo. It is located in the fertile valley of the River Paraíba do Sul on the southern (right) bank. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Vale do Paraíba e Litoral Norte. The population is 36,185 in an area of 121.08 km2 (46.75 sq mi). The municipality is sometimes referred as Aparecida do Norte.

Aparecida is not only a religious destination, but also a charming city surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes. The Serra da Mantiqueira mountain range offers breathtaking views and outdoor activities, such as hiking and horseback riding. The city also has a rich cultural heritage, with museums and historic buildings that tell the story of Brazil's colonial past.

One of the highlights of Aparecida is the Basilica, where thousands of visitors come every day to pay their respects to Our Lady Aparecida. The impressive church can hold up to 45,000 people and has several chapels and altars dedicated to different saints. The statue of Our Lady Aparecida, which is made of clay and measures 39 centimeters, is considered a national treasure and an important symbol of Brazil's Catholic faith.
