Sorico is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,188 and an area of 23.3 square kilometres (9.0 mi2).
As you wander through the narrow streets of Sorico, you will be captivated by the town's historic architecture and charming atmosphere. The town has a rich history, dating back to the Roman era, and you can see evidence of this in the town's ancient walls and ruins. Sorico is also home to a number of beautiful churches, including the Church of San Miro and the Church of San Fedele.
