Résidence Les Bénédictins

Limoges is a city and commune, and the prefecture of the Haute-Vienne department in west-central France. It was the administrative capital of the former Limousin region. Situated on the first western foothills of the Massif Central, Limoges is crossed by the river Vienne, of which it was originally the first ford crossing point.

Known for its rich history in porcelain production, Limoges boasts a variety of museums and workshops dedicated to the craft. You can take a tour of the Bernardaud porcelain factory and learn about the intricate process of creating these delicate pieces. Or, you can visit the Adrien Dubouché National Museum and marvel at the impressive collection of porcelain and ceramics.

But Limoges has more to offer than just its porcelain heritage. The city also boasts stunning architecture, including the Gothic-style Limoges Cathedral and the Renaissance-style Bishop's Palace. Take a stroll through the historic city center and discover quaint shops and cafes tucked away in charming alleyways.
