Capalbio is a town and a comune in the Province of Grosseto in Tuscany, central Italy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southeast of Grosseto.
It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia.
As you wander through the cobblestone streets, you'll feel like you've stepped back in time. The town's medieval walls and towers stand tall, evoking a sense of mystery and grandeur. Take a stroll through the historic center and discover the stunning 12th-century Church of San Nicola, as well as the impressive Aldobrandeschi Fortress.
But Capalbio isn't just about history. The town is also a hub for contemporary art, with the impressive Tarot Garden, a sculpture park created by the French artist Niki de Saint Phalle, who spent over a decade creating the park's 22 whimsical and colorful sculptures.
