Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

Moab was an ancient Levantine kingdom whose territory is today located in southern Jordan. The land is mountainous and lies alongside much of the eastern shore of the Dead Sea. The existence of the Kingdom of Moab is attested to by numerous archaeological findings, most notably the Mesha Stele, which describes the Moabite victory over an unnamed son of King Omri of Israel, an episode also noted in 2 Kings 3. The Moabite capital was Dibon. According to the Hebrew Bible, Moab was often in conflict with its Israelite neighbours to the west.

If you're looking for a place to experience the beauty of nature while trying out different activities, Moab is the perfect destination for you. This town is known for its stunning landscapes, including the famous Arches National Park, the Canyonlands National Park, and the Dead Horse Point State Park. With over 2,000 natural sandstone arches, Arches National Park is a must-visit destination that provides breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

In addition to exploring the parks, Moab offers plenty of outdoor activities for adventure seekers. You can go hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, or even take a hot air balloon ride over the stunning red rock formations. The Colorado River runs through Moab, providing opportunities for rafting and kayaking.
