The Cordillera Paine is a group of mountains in Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. It is 280 km (170 mi) north of Punta Arenas, and about 1,960 km (1,220 mi) south of the Chilean capital Santiago. Paine means "blue" in the native Tehuelche (Aonikenk) language and is pronounced PIE-nay.
Torres del Paine National Park is home to some of the most stunning natural wonders in the world. From towering granite peaks to crystal-clear lakes and sprawling glaciers, this region boasts a diverse landscape that will leave YOU in awe. The park is also home to a vast array of wildlife, including guanacos, pumas, foxes, and many species of birds.
One of the most iconic landmarks in Torres del Paine is the three granite towers that give the park its name.
