It is 23 miles north of Norwich, 9 miles (14 km) northwest of North Walsham and 4 miles east of Sheringham on the North Sea coastline. The civil parish has an area of 4.66 km2 and at the 2011 census had a population of 7,524.

One of the highlights of Cromer is its stunning coastline, which stretches for miles and offers plenty of opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic arcade game or a live music performance, you’ll find it here.

But Cromer isn’t just a summer destination. The town is also home to a number of historical sites and cultural institutions, including the Cromer Museum, which showcases the area’s rich history and heritage, and the RNLI Henry Blogg Museum, which pays tribute to the town’s famous lifeboatman.
