SUITE MARINELLA -TAORMINA

Taormina is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Messina, on the east coast of the island of Sicily, Italy. Taormina has been a tourist destination since the 19th century. Its beaches on the Ionian Sea, including that of Isola Bella, are accessible via an aerial tramway built in 1992, and via highways from Messina in the north and Catania in the south.

As you walk through the charming cobblestone streets of Taormina, you'll be transported back in time to the medieval era. The town's narrow alleys are lined with old stone buildings adorned with colorful flowers and balconies overflowing with vines. The main attraction of Taormina is the ancient Greek Theater, which offers breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. The theater is still used today for concerts and performances, and it's a must-see for anyone interested in history or architecture.

One of the things that makes Taormina so special is its stunning beaches. The town is surrounded by crystal-clear waters and sandy beaches, making it the perfect destination for a relaxing day by the sea. Isola Bella is a small island located just a few steps away from the mainland, and it's a popular spot for swimming and snorkeling.
