In the oldest part of town, just 2 minutes' walk from Ayr's sandy beach and the town centre, this charming, family-run hotel offers lovely rooms, tasty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi and parking.

Next to Ayr's historic St John's Tower, the Arrandale Hotel is just a short stroll from the seafront esplanade, with its wonderful views of Ailsa and Arran. The bus station is just a 2-minute walk away and Ayr Railway Station is less than 10 minutes' walk from the hotel.

Quiet and peaceful, each of the comfortable en suite rooms is individually decorated and is named after one of the islands on Scotland's West Coast.

Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order and include locally produced bacon, sausages and free-range eggs.

Ayr is a town situated on the southwest coast of Scotland. A former royal burgh, today it is the administrative centre of South Ayrshire Council, and the historic county town of Ayrshire. With a population of 46,182 in 2022, Ayr is the 15th largest settlement in Scotland and second largest town in Ayrshire by population. The town is contiguous with the smaller town of Prestwick to the north. Ayr submitted unsuccessful bids for city status in 2000 and 2002, and as part of the wider South Ayrshire area in 2022.

One of the most notable attractions in Ayr is the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum. This museum celebrates the life and works of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns. Here, YOU can explore his early life and see where he was born and spent his childhood. The museum also features interactive exhibits and a beautiful garden that inspired some of Burns' most famous poems.
