Overlooking the east gate to Jasper National Park, The Gingerbread Cabin is situated on half an acre of woods. This log cabin features a kitchen, log furniture and a wood-burning stove in the dining area.
The Gingerbread Cabin offers a cottage with a loft. The main floor includes a dining area, living room and satellite TV with DVD player. A small library with a selection of movies and games is provided. Free WiFi internet access is available.

Jasper is an opaque type of silica that comes in a variety of colors, most commonly red, yellow, brown, green, and very rarely blue. It is made mostly of very fine-grained quartz or chalcedony, with other minerals contributing to its color and appearance. The common reddish color is due to iron inclusions. The density of jasper is typically 2.5 to 2.9 g/cm3. Jaspillite is a banded-iron-formation rock that often has distinctive bands of jasper.
