The Joiners Arms has a beautiful setting in Newton by the Sea, outside Alnwick and within 10 minutes’ drive of Beadnell and Seahouses. It features uniquely decorated rooms and a restaurant.

Bamburgh and its pretty castle can be reached in 20 minutes by car. You can also enjoy a visit to Alnwick Castle, the sight of many Harry Potter film scenes. Newcastle is 45 miles away, while Edinburgh can be reached in 90 minutes by car.

Chathill is a hamlet in the civil parish of Ellingham, in Northumberland, England. It is about 9 miles (14 km) north of Alnwick and 3 miles (5 km) inland from the North Sea coast. It is served by Chathill railway station. It is on the main road serving Seahouses and the northern coast.
