The town's urban area includes the neighbouring hamlet of Scawby Brook.

Nestled in the heart of North Lincolnshire, Brigg is a picturesque town with a rich history and plenty of attractions to explore. The town is known for its traditional market, which has been running since the 13th century and is still a thriving hub of activity today.

Aside from the market, Brigg is also home to a number of unique shops, cafes, and historic buildings. One must-visit spot is the beautiful St. John the Evangelist Church, which dates back to the 15th century and features stunning stained glass windows and intricate stonework.
