Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

Lavenham is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in the Babergh district, in the county of Suffolk, England. It is noted for its Guildhall, Little Hall, 15th-century church, half-timbered medieval cottages and circular walks. In the medieval period it was among the twenty wealthiest settlements in England. In 2011 the parish had a population of 1722.

As you walk through the cobbled streets, you'll feel as though you've stepped back in time to a bygone era. The town is home to over 300 listed buildings, many of which are Tudor and medieval in design. One of the most notable structures is the Guildhall, a stunning 16th-century building that now serves as a museum showcasing the town's history.

If you're a fan of history, you'll also want to visit the nearby Lavenham Falconry, where you can watch birds of prey soar through the sky and learn about the ancient art of falconry. For those who prefer the outdoors, Lavenham has plenty of scenic walking trails, including the Lavenham Circular Walk, which takes you through picturesque meadows, woodlands, and pastures.
