About the property

With a central Glasgow location, The Pipers’ Tryst Hotel is a unique 4-star restaurant with rooms located at The National Piping Centre - the home of Scottish Bagpiping. Free Wi-Fi is accessible throughout and as a registered charity, all profits go back into teaching the bagpipes within Scotland and locations worldwide.

The Pipers’ Tryst offers bedrooms decorated in a Scottish theme, and feature en-suite facilities with a bath and double-headed rainfall shower. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, a desk and tea/coffee making facilities.

A full Scottish breakfast is included in the room rate with a choice of tea/coffee, fruit juice, a continental buffet and full cooked options.

The award-winning restaurant offers an à la carte menu based around ‘farm assured’ produce. The menus change through the seasons and offer fresh local Scottish produce. We feature a selection of hand-selected wines, craft-brewed Scottish beers and cider and bespoke gins from all over Scotland.

Photos, information and travel guides for your stay.

Glasgow is the most populous city in Scotland, located on the banks of the River Clyde in west central Scotland. It is the third-most populous city in the United Kingdom and comprises 23 wards which represent the areas within the city boundaries. Glasgow is a leading city in Scotland for university education and research, finance, industry, commerce, shopping, culture and fashion, and was commonly referred to as the "second city of the British Empire" for much of the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

One of the top attractions in Glasgow is the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, which features a diverse collection of art and artifacts from around the world. You can also explore the city's rich history by visiting the Glasgow Cathedral, a stunning example of Gothic architecture, or the Provand's Lordship, the oldest surviving house in the city.

For a taste of contemporary culture, head to the trendy neighborhood of Finnieston, known for its hip restaurants and bars. Or, catch a show at the iconic King's Theatre, which has been entertaining audiences since 1904.
