Situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Saddle Room offers both room accommodation and stone-built cottages, next door to The Forbidden Corner within the grounds of Tupgill Park. Free WiFi is available in the cottages, as well as the bed and breakfast rooms.

The charming cottages at The Saddle Room feature a living area with a TV and a fully fitted kitchen with a microwave and an oven. The bathrooms include a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.

The Twin and Double rooms are located next to The Saddle Room restaurant, which offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Booking in advance is recommended.

Guests can enjoy exploring the Forbidden Corner’s 4-acres of gardens, which are home to a labyrinth of tunnels, follies, and chambers. ** Pre-booking is essential** In the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, The Saddle Room is just 40 minutes’ drive from Ripon Races and 17 miles from Wensleydale Creamery.

Middleham is a former market town and civil parish in the district and county of North Yorkshire, England. It lies in Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales, on the south side of the valley, upstream from the confluence of the River Ure and River Cover. There has been a settlement there since Roman times. It was recorded in the 1086 Domesday Book as Medelai.
