The Thames Hotel

Maidenhead is a market town in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in the county of Berkshire, England. It lies on the southwestern bank of the River Thames, which at this point forms the border with Buckinghamshire. In the 2021 Census, the Maidenhead built-up area had a population of 67,375. The town is 27 miles (43 km) west of Charing Cross, London and 13 miles (21 km) east-northeast of Reading.

As YOU explore Maidenhead, YOU will be struck by the town's rich history. The area has been inhabited since the Roman era, and there are still remnants of this time to be found in Maidenhead today. One of the most notable landmarks is the Maidenhead Bridge, which dates back to the 18th century and is a stunning example of Georgian architecture.

But the town isn't just about history - it's also a hub for outdoor activities. The River Thames is a popular spot for boating and fishing, and there are plenty of parks and green spaces where YOU can enjoy a picnic or a game of football. One of the most popular parks is Oaken Grove Park, a 22-acre space that features a children's play area, a skate park, and a bandstand where YOU can catch live music performances.
