Toberua Island is a small, privately-owned island that is located just off the eastern coast of Viti Levu, Fiji's main island. The island is only accessible by boat, which adds to its secluded and tranquil vibe. Once you arrive on the island, you'll be greeted by stunning white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and lush tropical vegetation.
One of the best things about Toberua Island is that it's small enough to explore on foot, yet there's still plenty to see and do. The island is home to just 16 traditional Fijian-style bures, which are scattered throughout the island's coconut grove. Each bure is spacious and comfortable, and features a private deck or veranda with stunning ocean views.
