Poggio Picenze is a comune and town in the province of L'Aquila in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Poggio Picenze is a small city with about 1,000 inhabitants. Located on Italy's Highway 17, it is 14 kilometres (9 mi) from the Abruzzese Apennines and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) from the city of L'Aquila.
