Trulli Corte Kalia

Francavilla Fontana is a town and comune (municipality) in the Province of Brindisi, in the region of Apulia, southern Italy. It is also known as the "Town of the Imperiali", referring to the Imperiali family, a noble lineage of feudal lords who ruled the area from the late 16th century until the 18th century.

As you wander through the narrow streets and alleys, you'll be transported back in time to the medieval era. The town's centerpiece is the impressive Castle of the Imperiali, a fortress built in the 16th century that dominates the skyline. From its towers, you can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

But Francavilla Fontana is not just about history. The town is known for its delicious cuisine, and you'll find countless restaurants and cafes serving up traditional Puglian dishes. Be sure to try the local specialty, orecchiette con le cime di rapa, a pasta dish made with turnip greens that is both hearty and flavorful.
