Kayaköy is a neighbourhood of the municipality and district of Fethiye, Muğla Province, Turkey. In 2022, its population was 975. Situated 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of Fethiye, it is mostly abandoned. It was anciently known in Greek as Karmylessos, shortened to Lebessos and pronounced in Modern Greek as Leivissi. From Ancient Greek the town name shifted to Koine Greek by the Roman period, evolved into Byzantine Greek in the Middle Ages, and finally became the Modern Greek name still used by its townspeople before their final evacuation in 1923.

Kayakoy is a unique place that has preserved its ancient architecture and traditions. Once a bustling Greek Orthodox town, it was abandoned during the population exchange between Greece and Turkey in the early 20th century. Today, the ruins of the old houses, churches, and streets are a haunting reminder of the town's past.

One of the most remarkable features of Kayakoy is its stunning natural scenery. The town is surrounded by rolling hills covered in lush greenery, and the nearby coastline boasts crystal-clear waters and secluded coves. You can spend your days hiking through the hills, swimming in the sea, or simply relaxing in the shade of an olive tree.
