Valluvanad Residency

Perinthalmanna is a town and a municipality in Malappuram district, Kerala, India. It serves as the administrative centre for the Perinthalmanna taluk, as well as a revenue division, a community development block, and a police sub-division bearing the same name. It was the headquarters of the former Walluvanad Taluk in Malabar district during British rule. The town is located 23 kilometres (14 mi) southwest of Malappuram at the centre of the Kozhikode–Palakkad National Highway 966.

Perintalmanna is an ideal place to visit for nature lovers. The place is surrounded by lush green forests, beautiful waterfalls, and scenic hills, which offer a perfect backdrop for some amazing pictures. You can visit the Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, which is home to various migratory birds like herons, ducks, and egrets. The sanctuary is spread over an area of 3 km² and is a paradise for bird watching enthusiasts.

Perintalmanna is also famous for its temples and mosques. The Thirumandhamkunnu Bhagavathy Temple is a must-visit place, which is dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy. The temple is known for its beautiful architecture, intricate carvings, and the annual festival which attracts thousands of devotees.
