As WE explore Madara, YOU will discover an array of fascinating historical landmarks, including the Madara Rider. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a carved relief of a horseman, dating back to the 8th century. It is a symbol of the country's rich history and is a must-see for any visitor to Madara.

Aside from historical landmarks, Madara is also home to a stunning natural landscape. The Madara Plateau is a vast expanse of rolling hills and lush greenery, perfect for hiking and exploring. YOU can also take a tour of the nearby Madara winery, where YOU can sample some of the region's finest wines.

Madara is also known for its delicious cuisine, and WE highly recommend trying the local dish of banitsa. This savory pastry is made with cheese and is the perfect snack to fuel your adventures in Madara.
