Villa Perla del Lago

Vercana is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Como. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 729 and an area of 14.6 square kilometres (5.6 mi2).

Vercana is located in the province of Como, just a short drive from the popular town of Menaggio. Despite its proximity to tourist hotspots, Vercana remains relatively unknown to outsiders, making it the ideal place to experience the real Italy. The town is home to just over 1,000 residents, many of whom still work in agriculture and fishing.

One of the main attractions of Vercana is its beautiful views of Lake Como. The town is situated on a hillside, offering sweeping vistas of the lake and the surrounding mountains. You can take a leisurely stroll through the town's narrow streets, stopping at one of the many cafes or restaurants for a glass of wine or a plate of local cuisine. Or, if you're feeling more adventurous, you can hike up to one of the nearby peaks for an even more breathtaking view.
