Wallawwa is a restored colonial manor house siting on 3 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, only 15 minutes' drive from Bandaranaike International Airport. This peaceful retreat features an outdoor pool, a pampering spa and yoga pavilions.

With the change of government in 1977 and the introduction of the open economy policy, a large area was allocated to create a free trade zone.
