Brampton is the ninth most populous municipality in Canada and the regional seat of the Regional Municipality of Peel. It is also the third most populous city in the Greater Golden Horseshoe urban area, behind Toronto and Mississauga. Brampton is part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), located in the Canadian province of Ontario, and is a lower-tier municipality within the Peel Region. The City of Brampton is bordered by Vaughan to the east, Halton Hills to the west, Caledon to the north, Mississauga to the south, and Etobicoke (Toronto) to the southeast.

One of the main attractions in Brampton is the historic Moot Hall, a 17th-century building that now houses the town's tourist information center. The Moot Hall is a great starting point for your exploration of the town as it provides you with all the information you need to make the most of your visit. From here, you can take a stroll through the town's narrow streets and admire the beautiful architecture of the buildings.

If you're a fan of history, then Brampton Castle is a must-visit site. Although the castle is now in ruins, it still gives visitors a glimpse of what life was like in medieval times. The castle's remains are located on a hilltop overlooking the town, providing stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
