Prince Rupert ist eine Kleinstadt in der westkanadischen Provinz British Columbia. Sie befindet sich auf Kaien Island und erhielt am 10. März 1910 das Recht auf kommunale Selbstverwaltung (incorporated). Der Ort wurde nach Ruprecht von der Pfalz, Herzog von Cumberland benannt und wird auch als die „Stadt der Regenbögen“ bezeichnet, da es hier sehr hohe Niederschlagsmengen gibt.
