Ibusuki is a city located in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan. As of 31 January 2024, the city had an estimated population of 37,594 in 17477 households, and a population density of 250 people per km2. The total area of the city is 148.81 km2 (57.46 sq mi).

Make sure to stop by the Chiran Samurai District, a preserved historical area that dates back to the Edo period. The district is filled with traditional samurai houses and gardens that will transport you back in time.
